4. When you have a product that can’t be fully created and protected for transport, like high-end furniture. In this case, it’s best to build multi-stop truckloads. It reduces the risk for damages and presents potential long-run savings.
5. When time is of the essence and you can’t afford any delays. There is no set transit time when using an LTL carrier on a volume spot quote basis. Freight moves as capacity allows it, which ultimately leads to longer transit times.
