4th of July Tribute - Help Us Thank Our Former Military Team Members

Posted by Ascent Global Logistics on Jun 29, 2017 9:10:00 AM

The Fourth of July holiday is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, concerts and family gatherings, but we would like to take a moment to personally recognize members of our team who have selflessly served in the military.

At Ascent Global Logistics, we believe that each and every individual who has previously served or are currently serving deserve to be honored and thanked. Our independence could not be maintained if it were not for the countless men and women who have honorably served over the years.

Therefore, we would like you to meet some of the Ascent Global Logistics team members who have previously served. Please join us in thanking not only these individuals but all who have served:

Did you know?

The Fourth of July became an official U.S. federal holiday in 1941, but the tradition of Independence Day celebrations dates back to the 18th century and the American Revolution. On July 2nd, 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favor of independence, and two days later delegates from the 13 colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence, a historic document drafted by Thomas Jefferson. From 1776 to the present day, July 4th has been celebrated as the birth of American independence, with festivities ranging from fireworks, parades and concerts to more casual family gatherings and barbecues.
