You're busy. Your to-do list grows every day. Why should you spend your time on a complicated inbound shipping program?
There has to be a better way!
By working with GTS, you can streamline your inbound shipping program into four simple steps.
1. Set Up Your Program with GTS
When you utilize a 3PL, like GTS, you do a small amount of work up front and let us do the rest for you. We work with you to develop your shipping requirements and coordinate your communication, allowing you to be hands-off. GTS works directly with all of the shipping parties involved.
After you set up your account and preferences, GTS will contact your vendors. New operations require retraining and documented guidelines for everyone involved explaining the new processes. By handling the vendor compliance process, we take the messy logistics communications off your hands. We let your vendors know that when they are ready to ship to you, they contact us!
2. Place an Order with Your Vendor
Are you ready to place an order? Under shipping instructions specify "Contact GTS 800-689-6255" and that's it. When your vendor is preparing to ship your order, they contact us, and we route the shipment to the right location for the right cost.
3.Track Your Shipments
While you are waiting for your shipments to arrive, you can track them via your personalized transportation management system (TMS). Sit back and watch your shipment move through the delivery process. This transparency gives you the ability to see any exceptions and to plan ahead for your receiving process.
4. Pay One Freight Bill
Hate juggling multiple bills and invoices? GTS will streamline your financials and provide consolidated invoicing with line item detail. Turn multiple shipping invoices into one easy payment.
It can be difficult for companies to streamline their inbound shipping program. This is where a 3PL can help – by taking the burden off of you while providing visibility, efficiency and cost savings - all while continuing the positive vendor-shipper relationship.
