In January 2018, we posted about Walmart's On Time In Full (OTIF) upcoming program changes. Since the blog post was written, here are the key reminders for the April 2018 OTIF program changes:
- Full Truckload (FTL) deliveries will increase to 85% from 75%, effective April 2018.
- Less-than-Truckload (LTL) deliveries move to 50% OTIF.
- Walmart will continue to assess a 3% cost of goods sold penalty on shipments outside of compliance.
These increases support Walmart’s objective of improving inventory flow and increasing On Shelf Customer Availability (OSCA).
